Rosatom was involved in the reclamation of the Taboshar industrial site within the framework of the “Reclamation of the Territories of States Affected by Uranium Mining Production” Interstate Target Program signed in 2012. As a result, the waste dumps of the low-grade ore plant and four tailing storage facilities of the industrial site were brought to a radiation-safe state. The work was completed ahead of schedule in the fall of 2023.
