Isotope – Regional Alliance, Joint
Stock Company (Isotope JSC, a company of Rosatom Science division) and
RAIN Private Institution took part at the International Gas Industry Expo 2026 (CIGIE
2026) and at the Asia-Pacific Helium Conference (APHC).
On the sidelines of the
exhibition, Rosatom held a series of successful negotiations with Chinese
partners. The parties discussed ways to expand the supply of isotope products. Visitors to the exhibition could also learn more about Russian isotopes at Rosatom's booth. The Rosatom delegation also attended field-specific seminars and
conducted market research during the event.
The exhibition included the Asia-Pacific Helium Conference 2026, which was a major event for the global helium industry. Participants of the conference discussed market trends and future prospects, and established new business ties and partnerships.
“Rosatom is among the top five largest players on the market for isotope products. We are currently supplying approximately 400 different types of isotope products. At CIGIE 2026, we have reached new agreements regarding the supply of germanium-72 (Ge-72), silicon-78 (Si-78), and helium-3 (He-3)," said Rustam Rakhmatullin, Strategic Development Advisor to Director General of Isotope JSC.
Isotope – Regional Alliance, Joint-Stock Company (Izotope JSC) is the industry’s integrator for the distribution and marketing of Rosatom’s isotope products, the exclusive distributor of Rosatom's Isotope Network on the global
market, and the key supplier of the isotope products on the domestic market. Isotope JSC has a vast network of partners,
including 170 foreign companies based in 50 countries worldwide, and
approximately 700 Russian companies including medical facilities, manufacturing
companies, and scientific institutions. Currently, Rosatom offers the world’s widest range
of radioactive and stable isotopes for medical applications. The company
makes up to 9,000 shipments annually including 2,000 export ones.
RAIN
Private Institution is responsible for coordinating the activities of the
foreign regional offices of Rosatom and promoting the products and services of
Russian nuclear industry on international markets.
Rosatom’s scientific division is devoted to innovative fundamental and applied research with a focus on developing both nuclear and non-nuclear technologies (including the closed nuclear fuel cycle, thermonuclear fusion, and nuclear medicine). The division also works on science-intensive technologies for both nuclear and other sectors. It consists of 13 research institutes and commercial companies including LUCH Scientific and Industrial Association (NII NPO LUCH JSC), Research Institute of Technical Physics and Automation (NIITFA JSC), State Research and Development Institute of rare metals (Giredmet JSC), V.G. Khlopin Radium Institute, etc. They possess a robust research infrastructure and in-house pilot production facilities, allowing them to implement a scientific idea from basic research to design development and prototype creation. The majority of the division’s scientific research and development efforts are taken within the General industrial thematic plan. The scope of the division encompasses testing, development of high-tech medical equipment and innovative construction materials. It runs projects aimed at commercializing promising science-intensive technologies.
